The meaningful use of digital health in Australia is underpinned by healthcare organisations connecting to the Healthcare Identifiers (HI) service. This four-part webinar series will provide managers of medical practices, community pharmacies and other healthcare organisations with an understanding of the foundations of digital health and how to put in place the pre-requisites required to connect to digital health services (such as electronic prescriptions, My Health Record and Secure Messaging).
Healthcare Identifiers and the HI Service
Mon 6 Feb 23, 11.30-12.00 pm – will cover the basics of the HI service and an overview of the steps required for an organisation to connect to digital health tools.
Tue 14 Feb 23, 12.00-12.30 pm – will cover the steps required to gain access to Health Professionals Online Services (HPOS) via the PRODA (Provider Digital Access) platform, prior to registering an organisation for the HI service.
Registering a Seed Organisation with the HI Service
Thu 16 Feb 23, 2.00-2.30 pm – will cover the steps required to obtain a HPI-O (healthcare provider identifier – organisation) and successfully register the organisation with the Healthcare Identifiers service.
Setting Up the Access to MyHealth Record and Electronic Prescriptions
Tue 21 Feb 23, 12.00-12.30 pm – will cover the steps required to set up an organisation for My Health Record and Electronic Prescribing after registration with the HI service has been completed. The session will cover NASH certificates, CSP linking, system configuration and Electronic Prescribing requirements.
