Expression of Interest Open – Community Grants: Intellectual Disability Health Literacy

CESPHN are seeking expressions of interest from multicultural community organisations to deliver health literacy workshops and distribute health resources specific to people with intellectual disability, their families, and carers from multicultural backgrounds.

Zero Discrimination

The workshops and resources will equip people with intellectual disability, their families, and carers with the necessary knowledge to assist with making informed decisions about their health.

The objectives of this initiative are to:

  • Increase health literacy of people with intellectual disability, their families and carers who live in the community,
  • Increase awareness of the role of primary care and specialised hospital services,
  • Increase uptake of annual health assessments and access to ID specialised services.

Two grants of up to $20,000 are available.

Further information is available on the CESPHN website.

Expressions of interest are to be submitted through this form by COB 22 May 2023.

Grants are funded by Project GROW, a federally funded program improving health outcomes for people with intellectual disability.
