Clinical Applications in Lactation Care

A Two-Day, Practice-Oriented, Intensive with Molly Pessl and Ginna Wall

Return to the classroom for a two-day, in-person course for sharpening assessment and patient care skills using complex case studies. Clinical Applications provides a summary of your didactic education and clinical experience, focusing on case studies and the critical thinking required for those who are working with infant and child feeding issues in maternal-child health. Clinical Applications can be your final step in preparation for the IBLCE exam, or it can be an opportunity for any professional experienced in lactation care to collaborate with other experienced clinicians and problem solve case studies.

In addition to continuing education hours, these two days will provide:

  • Networking opportunities
  • Opportunities to reflect on and grow from clinical practice experiences.
  • Ideas for how to reduce conflicting advice.
  • Roundtable dialogue on challenging lactation cases and evidence-based recommendations.
  • IBLCE Code of Ethics discussions for consideration and implementation (plus 3 Ethics CERPs!)
