Are you a medical practitioner or nurse practitioner with an interest in learning more about opioid treatment pharmacotherapies for opioid dependence?
You are invited to the Opioid Treatment Accreditation Course (OTAC) on Saturday 18th March 2023 in the Sydney CBD. This is a free educational activity, facilitated by drug and alcohol treatment specialists.
The OTAC is designed for medical and nurse practitioners in NSW to assist in the development of knowledge, skills and practices to support the safe prescribing of opioid treatment pharmacotherapies (i.e., methadone and buprenorphine for opioid dependence).
The course is free to medical and nurse practitioners with an interest in opioid treatment pharmacotherapies. Those who complete the OTAC are also eligible to undertake a brief clinical placement and apply for accreditation to prescribe opioid treatment pharmacotherapies within NSW.
