What GPs need to know for World Pride 2023

Event date and time: Tuesday, 21 February 2023, 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm AEDT

This forum is to inform GP of key hot topic issue they may need to manage in general practice during World Pride 2023. Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant will provide an overview and be joined by GPs with an interest in Sexual Health, Alcohol and other drugs and Mental Health.
Participations will learn about:
common presentations that GPs have managed at previous World Pride events extra support services that are available over the World Pride period for GPs Learning will be via case studies and participants will be able to ask questions via chat for live answers by the hosts.

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify key sexual health priorities for GP during Mardi Gras / World Pride 2023 Identify key mental health priorities for GP during Mardi Gras / World Pride 2023
  • Identify key alcohol and other drugs priorities for GP during Mardi Gras / World Pride 2023 -Identify strategies to best manage consultations involving these issues and supports for GPs
