Almost time to complete and submit an annual confirmation statement through HPOS:
Each year, general practices that participate in PIP are required to complete and submit an annual confirmation statement through HPOS by 31 July.
Practices will need to confirm their details including whether they have met both the Program and Incentive level eligibility requirements.
Practices should receive the statement through their HPOS by the end of May.
It is the sole responsibility of the participating general practice to make their declaration to Medicare of compliance or non-compliance in the annual confirmation statement every May.
If practices do not receive the statement, they should contact Incentive Programs enquiry line at Services Australia on 1800 222 032.
