The Inner West Healthy Ageing Hub is now open at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre:

The Healthy Ageing Hub provides practical support, navigation assistance and guidance to help older people maintain independence and social connection and empower them to look after their health and wellbeing as they age.

The Healthy Ageing Hub supports general practice and allied health by providing a pathway to refer patients who may be socially isolated, in need of support on a range of matters or require assistance with accessing aged care and other services.

The Hub also promotes positive ageing in the community and aims to dispel myths about older age. This is done through a series of seminars and talks on a range of topics, delivered to various community audiences.

To learn more about the Inner West Healthy Ageing Hub, and to contact the Healthy Ageing Advisor, please visit the website or call 0493 342 221.

Healthy Ageing Hubs are now available in two locations in our region, at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, and in the Sutherland Shire, at Gymea Community Aid and Information Service.
