NCIRS has developed a new resource to support conversations about administering multiple vaccinations for children at the same time.
It is safe for children to have more than one vaccine at once. A child’s immune system is very strong, and so having more than one vaccine at the same appointment does not overwhelm it.
The resource addresses a number of frequently asked questions and provides links to further information, including Australian vaccine safety data, details on the childhood immunisation schedule and useful resources for families.
Addition of Prevenar 20 and Verorab vaccines to the Australian Immunisation Register

Prevenar 20 and Verorab vaccines will be available to report to the AIR using clinical software, however if these vaccines are not displayed, vaccination providers should contact their software provider. Alternatively, vaccination providers can report these vaccines to the AIR using the AIR site.
