Job title: Practice Nurse

Forum Medical and Skin Centre is looking for a full time Practice Nurse interested in providing patient care in a general practice setup to patients coming from all demographic background. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including other GPs and Allied Health Practitioners you will be based in their Medical Clinic based in Leichhardt.

The Location – Leichhardt is a residential suburb best known as the hub of Sydney’s Italian community. Norton Street and Marion Street buzz with cafes, trattorias and bakeries, and thousands of people visit the annual Italian Festa food festival, every October. The Italian Forum is an open-air shopping mall with designer fashions and Tuscan architecture. Small bookshops, indie cinemas and cosy wine bars add to the European vibe.

Join Forum Medical and Skin Centre and their friendly team of GPs, allied health and administrative staff. Pathology is available on-site, close to Pharmacy and Imaging.
They are AGPAL accredited, mixed billing practice with privately charged procedural fee and are fully-computerised using Best Practice.

Forum Medical and Skin Centre is a quality improvement practice offering POLAR systems, e-referral system, Health Link, e-referral system, regular practice meetings and great support.

Skills required

• be a registered nurse with AHPRA.
• 1+ year experience as practice nurse preferable (not mandatory)
• relate well with people of all interests, background and abilities and be committed to delivering holistic care to our patients
• qualities like excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, time management and compassion for people will be highly appreciated
