A New Kind of Care

Next Practice Sydney is a small and dynamic team, looking for a Practice Nurse to help shape this exciting role of all round patient care, from the moment they step through the doors.

They are looking for a special team member who is invested in going above and beyond by delivering emotionally intelligent customer service and patient care that aligns with our culture and values of creating centres of excellence in general practice.

The core purpose of your role is to ensure the patient is supported throughout their journey with Next Practice Sydney. You need to balance your clinical knowledge and passion for patient centric care with managing the patient flow by conducting Pre and Post Consults, so that each patient receives seamless and supportive care with a focus on health outcomes.

Core responsibilities:

• Patient triage, administering vaccinations (adult & children), wound care, assisting with minor procedures.
• Daily coordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilisation, general maintenance and care of medical instruments and equipment.
• Assist in providing services such as health assessments and injury management, rehabilitation and chronic disease management.
• Managing recall and reminder system; clinical data management; accreditation compliance.
• Cold chain management.
• Coordinating infection control processes.
• Promote health and preventative care.
• Manage the workflow of the Living Room (Waiting room) including welcoming patients, telephone enquiries and general administrative tasks.
• Guide the patient through pre-consultation process and assist the patient during the post-consultation process, including payments and patient app onboarding.
• General support for the multidisciplinary clinical team and assist in building community relationships.
• Support marketing and workshop strategies within the clinic.

In summary, you will need to have the natural ability to seamlessly support patients throughout their journey, with a strong focus on health outcomes.
