The Kirketon Road Centre (KRC) are opening a new service for people who use drugs. ‘KRC Kellet Street’ is located above the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre, with the entrance at 12 Kellet st, Potts Point.
The walk-in clinic has nurses, doctors, counsellors and Aboriginal staff. No appointments are needed.
While the new service offers a wide range of primary health care services, it focuses on HIV & hepatitis C testing and treatment, Needle & Syringe Program, trauma informed counselling and housing support.
The service is free, anonymous and use of Medicare is optional. For more information about opening times or to request promotional materials, including posters and pamphlets, please call 9360 2766.
