PSS will be accepting referrals until Friday 15 December 2023, and will re-open for referrals from Monday 8 January 2024.
PICS will be accepting referrals until Friday 22 December 2023, and will re-open for referrals from Monday 8 January 2024.
Please note that any referrals sent between these dates will not be reviewed or actioned until the new year. There is no need to resubmit your referral.
The CESPHN Mental Health Intake and Triage Service will be contactable until 1pm Friday 22 December 2023 and available again on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
If you would like to discuss alternative referral options, please call the CESPHN Mental Health Intake Team on 1300 170 554 during these times.
PSS is currently experiencing high levels of demand with increasingly limited capacity, especially for the Suicide Prevention Service (SPS) and child referrals.
Please note that PSS is not an acute or crisis support service. For individuals requiring crisis support please consider a referral to your local mental health service by calling 1800 011 511 or emergencies services 000.
Our Head to Health will be open throughout the Christmas holiday period (except for public holidays). Referrals can be made by contacting 1800 595 212, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
