Resources to support infant and toddler mental health and wellbeing

Emerging Minds has created a suite of free online courses and resources for professionals looking to support the mental health and wellbeing of young children and their families. The early years of a child’s life – from conception to toddlerhood – play an essential role in shaping their long-term mental health, development and wellbeing. These free resources – including online courses, podcasts, webinars and fact sheets – offer guidance for professionals to enhance early child mental health and wellbeing. Whether you work in a child-, adult- or family-focused service, these resources will support you to:

  • understand the key concepts that inform effective early childhood mental health practice
  • build strong relationships with families to help them overcome obstacles affecting infant
    and toddler mental health; and
  • identify, assess and address emerging mental health concerns in young children.

These resources have been developed in collaboration with practitioners, parents, academics, child and family services, and early childhood mental health experts.
