RArEST (Awareness, Education, Support and Training for Rare Diseases) is seeking input and involvement, from a number of GPs with diverse views for our working group.
The activities of “Stream 2 – Clinician Education” working group include:
the development of guidelines,
development and implementation of various educational activities, and
The project is funded until June 2024 and are happy to have rotations, or long-standing GPs on our working group and or to consult with.
We require attendance at quarterly meetings (one hour) and pre-reading documents adding up to approximately one hour of work for each meeting, as well as some out of session input.
We propose that GPs involved in this work would be listed as co-authors in peer reviewed research publications, and this can be used by GP registrars with a research interest toward their research goals.
In addition to formal recognition in publications, GPs involved with our group will be reimbursed in line with RACGP recommendations of $150 per hour.
