Maroubra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) is now open
The Maroubra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) is now open, seven days a week, from 8.00am to 8.00pm. It was officially launched by member for Kingsford Smith, the hon Matt Thistlethwaite MP (pictured at the launch with CESPHN CEO Nathalie Hansen and ForHealth director Simon Taylor-Cross) in August 2023.

The Maroubra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) will help reduce pressure on our local hospital and emergency departments, allowing them to focus on higher urgency and life-threatening conditions.
The clinic is staffed by highly skilled doctors and nurses, utilising fit for purpose treatment and procedure rooms. A nurse will triage and admit patients to the service if suitable.
A list of conditions suitable to be seen at the Clinic can be seen by visiting the Maroubra Medicare UCC website page. A discharge summary will be provided to the patient’s usual GP or GP practice and GPs can call the clinic on 02 9349 9001 to connect to the rostered GP.

To make an appointment with the Maroubra Medicare UCC, people can book online or call 02 9349 9001. Walk In Appointments also available.
CESPHN are currently working in partnership with Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s Hospital ED’s and primary care providers such as GPs to ensure the Maroubra Medicare UCC:
is integrated with other local health services, and
meets the needs of local communities.
Expression of Interest for GPs to join Maroubra Urgent Care Clinic Project Steering Committee
To assist the Maroubra Medicare UCC adapt to local needs and work seamlessly with existing local health services and primary care providers, CESPHN are currently seeking expressions of interest from general practitioners in the Randwick LGA region to join the Maroubra Urgent Care Clinic Project Steering Committee.
