The Water Well Project supporting migrants, refugees and asylum seekers

The Water Well Project aims to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities from migrant, refugee or asylum seeker backgrounds through health education. This non-for-profit organisation facilitates health education sessions in partnership with community organisations. Sessions are facilitated by healthcare professional volunteers and aim to be engaging, interactive and culturally-appropriate.

Topics of education include:

  • COVID-19 self-care and vaccination
  • Preventative Health
  • Navigating the Australian Healthcare System
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
