The Refugee Camp in my Neighbourhood is back:

NSW Refugee Health Service are running specific Health Tours for health professionals where they will experience the journey of a refugee and gain a better understanding of the challenges they face as they arrive in Australia.

The Health Tours begin on 27 July, at the Whitlam Institute at the University of Western Sydney in Rydalmere.

The interactive tours will help you:

  • Understand how the refugee experience can impact on wellbeing.
  • Develop your understanding of risk factors for this group.
  • Improve your ability to engage effectively with people from refugee backgrounds.
  • Gain CPD points/hours
