EOI for Randwick Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

The Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN) is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from general practices,  or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services that may be willing and able to operate a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) in the Randwick LGA.

Medicare UCCs will aim to improve access to urgent care in a non-hospital setting, particularly for vulnerable groups, and reduce the pressure on emergency department presentations by providing patients with acute, episodic care for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening. The expectation is that the UCC will work closely with Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Childrens Hospital Network.
