The Maroubra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) is now open, seven days a week, from 8.00am to 8.00pm. It was officially launched by member for Kingsford Smith, the hon Matt Thistlethwaite MP in August 2023.

The Maroubra Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) will help reduce pressure on our local hospital and emergency departments, allowing them to focus on higher urgency and life-threatening conditions.
The clinic is staffed by highly skilled doctors and nurses, utilising fit for purpose treatment and procedure rooms. A nurse will triage and admit patients to the service if suitable.
A list of conditions suitable to be seen at the Clinic can be seen by visiting the Maroubra Medicare UCC website page. A discharge summary will be provided to the patient’s usual GP or GP practice and GPs can call the clinic on 02 9349 9001 to connect to the rostered GP.
