Free training to become a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician:

If you’re a mental health professional or dietitian wanting to enter the eating disorder workforce, you can now apply for the ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential and receive free Introductory and Treatment Provision training to support you in becoming credentialed.

To be eligible you must meet the below criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience (this does not need to be in the field of eating disorders)
  • Commitment to ongoing requirements including; 6 hours per year of supervision and 15 hours per year of continuing professional development (CPD). Once credentialed, you will be given a digital badge, the post-nominal CEDC and a published profile on Australia’s online directory of Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinicians, enabling people experiencing eating disorders and referring professionals to find and connect with you.
    This free training is funded for a short time only with limited spots available. If you are interested, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
    To apply, you simply need to complete an online form and pay the Application and Annual Credential Fee of $250 (+GST) which will waive the cost of your training and include credentialing until June 2024.
