General Practice Workforce Planning Survey

Access to general practice is critical to maintain the health of our community.  We have heard that some members of our communities in the Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN) may be experiencing difficulties in being able to access general practitioners.

We are working on a project with the Commonwealth to try and improve access to general practice.  As a first step we are trying to better understand our general practitioner workforce.

CESPHN is undertaking local stakeholder engagement to gather information on areas of greatest need of GP services.

We are inviting you and your practice staff to individually complete this short anonymous survey to inform independent and evidence-based advice on current and future GP workforce needs.

The survey will close on the 30 July 2023.

By completing this quick survey, CESPHN will be able to provide your perspective on the enablers and barriers experienced by the GP workforce within our community to the Commonwealth Government.

Your insights and expertise will help provide advice to inform future allocation and distribution of GP Registrar placements and ensure local needs are considered.

Your support and completion of this survey would be gratefully appreciated.
