Access to general practice is critical to maintaining the health of our community. We have heard that some members of our communities in the Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN) may be experiencing difficulties in being able to access general practitioners.
We are continuing to work on a project (GP Workforce, Planning and Prioritisation (WPP) Program) with the Commonwealth to try and improve access to general practice. As a first step we are trying to better understand our general practitioner workforce.
CESPHN is undertaking local stakeholder engagement to gather information on areas of greatest need of GP services.
We are inviting General Practitioners to individually complete this short anonymous survey to inform independent and evidence-based advice on current and future GP workforce needs.
Please see here a link to the SURVEY – or use the QR code below for your convenience.
The survey will close on the 6 March 2025.
By completing this quick survey, CESPHN will be able to provide your perspective on the enablers and barriers experienced by the GP workforce within our community to the Commonwealth Government.
Your support and completion of this survey would be gratefully appreciated.
Further consultation opportunity:
CESPHN are offering further consultations with GPs. If you would like to participate in a consultation session, please contact us at practicesupport@cesphn.com.au
