Request for Proposal: Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Health Assist service
CESPHN invites general practices and health centres to submit a Request for Proposal to deliver the Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Health Assist service.
DFSV Health Assist is part of the Supporting Outreach Healthcare for Victim-Survivors of Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Pilot funded by Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC). The service will offer migrant women and children and those on temporary visas in select refuges free health assessments, health care and referrals to allied health and other services where needed.
Suitable applicants must have at least one General Practitioner in employment and the capacity to recruit and manage a Nurse Practitioner and a Coordinator. The practice must be located within the CESPHN catchment area and have demonstrable experience in providing trauma-informed healthcare to women and children impacted by domestic and family violence and working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Private and not-for-profit health services are welcome to apply.
The service will commence from date of contract execution and will last for two years with a review after the first 12 months. The proposed timeframe is currently July 2025-2027.
