MEDIA RELEASE: Australia’s Primary Health Networks unite for inaugural Data and Digital Showcase

Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) is proud to host the first-ever PHN Data and Digital Showcase, taking place from 5-7 August 2025 at the InterContinental Sydney.
The showcase brings together Primary Health Networks (PHNs) from across Australia to share innovations, insights, and success stories in the evolving landscape of health data and digital health.
With the themes: Data, Digital and Insights, the showcase will feature a dynamic program of keynote addresses, plenary sessions, interactive workshops, and peer-led presentations.
“This showcase celebrates the incredible work happening across PHNs to harness data and digital tools to improve health outcomes,” said Nathalie Hansen, CEO of CESPHN. “We’re excited to provide a collaborative space to share insights, spark innovation, build partnerships, and drive forward the data and digital agenda.”
Program highlights include:
Keynote address by Simon Kuestenmacher, Co-founder of The Demographics Group
Plenary panels featuring leaders from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Healthdirect Australia, Queensland Health, The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, Telstra Health, the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and the CSIRO
International perspectives from experts representing the World Health Organization, the UK, and New Zealand
Over 30 PHN-led presentations showcasing cutting-edge projects in AI, data integration, digital health pathways, and more
Hands-on workshops on tools including Power BI, Azure CLI, QGIS, and VisiData
This event is being supported with Australian Government funding through the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) is a not-for-profit organisation with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of people who live and work in Sydney, from East to South and the Inner West.
