There is a new email address for the Practice Incentives Program (PIP) and Workforce Incentive Program (WIP) – Practice Stream.
This email address replaces the separate addresses previously used for each program. Emails sent to the old addresses are being automatically redirected to the new inbox.

WIP – Practice Stream: Payments will be automatically indexed in August 2025
Indexation applies to all Workforce Incentives Program (WIP) – Practice Stream payments.
Eligible practices will see the updated payment amounts automatically applied in the August 2025 quarterly payment. Indexation has been automatically applied since August 2024.

Eligibility requirements for Authority Required prescriptions
Patients must meet all eligibility requirements for Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listed medicines at the date of prescribing.
Authority approval cannot be provided if a patient does not meet all eligibility requirements when prescribed a PBS-listed medicine.
The criteria outlined in the PBS schedule changes over time, always check patients meet the eligibility requirements of a medicine on the PBS website.
