What is TEAM and who can use it?

 Think, Eat and Move (TEAM) is a FREE healthy lifestyle program that aims to support teenagers between 13 – 17 years, to improve their physical activity and eating habits and to live healthier lifestyles.

The program has been designed by health professionals and acknowledges the growing independence of teenagers by providing easy online access to the program and the flexibility to complete the program at a time that suits you. The program has been specifically written for this age range and includes advice and ideas relevant to teenagers.

Teenagers completing the program will learn a range of practical skills and useful tips each week helping them to make healthy choices and to take the lead on their health.

 This program is funded by Central and Eastern Sydney PHN and delivered by the Better Health Company who are also  the provider of the Go4Fun program across NSW. 


  • Adolescents between 13-17 years
  • Living or studying in the central and eastern Sydney region, or referred by a health professional in the area
  • And one of the following:
  • Classified as above a healthy weight (BMI score above the 85th percentile)
  • Diagnosed with a chronic health condition
  • Demonstrate increased risk of diet and lifestyle disease (assessed via a screening questionnaire).

Program highlights

  • TEAM program provides interactive, fun and fantastic online sessions specifically designed for adolescents.
  • Each participant will have access to their own personal health coach for individual support and motivation. This coaching will be delivered weekly over the phone by qualified allied health professionals.
  • Participants will receive extensive resources that support their healthy lifestyle changes.

How to refer?

Health professionals can register eligible participants by

  • FiIling in the interactive form on the TEAM website
  • Returning the referral form (see the bottom of this page) by fax or email (details provided on the form) ,or
  • Calling the TEAM registration line on 1300 899 736 or emailing . 

Eligible adolescents can also self refer via the program website or by calling the registration line. Health professionals are encouraged to discuss the program with appropriate participants.
