GP, Dr Damian Gill from Doctors for the Environment Australia, said: “The forum will bring together health professionals and member for Wentworth, Allegra Spender, to discuss the urgent health impacts of climate change and what we can do to drive solutions.
“It will be an opportunity to learn, connect with local doctors and take action.“
Dr Gill, said: “As doctors, we see more heart attacks, cancers, asthma, mental illness and more ill-health, due to our worsening climate.
“We have solutions now that are better for our health, can protect our environment, can ease the cost of living and give us, our children and our grandchildren a safe future.”
