The Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) is organising a series of workshops to identify current gaps and emerging areas of need in youth mental health service delivery across the City, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and South-Eastern suburbs of Sydney

CESPHN has Orygen (an Australian Youth Mental Health Research Institute) who will be facilitating the workshops.

These workshops will explore what is working well in mental health for young people and identify any gaps or barriers for people trying to access support. The workshops will also explore what can be added to these services, to better meet the mental health needs of young people.

About the Workshops:

We are inviting young people (people aged between 12-25 years old) who have may have lived with or is currently living with mental health challenges. This may include someone with a lived experience of mental health challenges who accessed support for themselves in their community, or a young person who has supported a friend, or family member access youth mental health services.

These workshops will explore:

  • Your experiences (or your loved one’s) of accessing mental health support, such as what has been most helpful or most challenging previously and,
  • how the Mental Health services best meet your needs and what are the gaps that you have seen.

Separate workshops are being held to capture the insights and suggestions of people working in the youth mental health space, including GPs, mental health service providers and other community-based supports.

Workshop is available to attend online or in person. Please register as per your preference using this link.
