Update on NSW Mental Health Support for GPs

Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) would like to inform GPs about the current situation regarding NSW mental health support. Due to the recent industrial relations dispute, some NSW public health services may be impacted, and psychiatrists’ availability might be limited.

Support Services Available:

  • The GP Psychiatry Support Line is a free service available from 7 am to 7 pm (AEST) Monday to Friday for clinical diagnostic and medication-related questions. Call 1800 16 17 18 or visit: www.gpsupport.org.au
  • You can continue to refer to the Mental Health line on 1800 011 511 for advice and connection to specialist mental health services.
