Medicare Mental Health Centres (formerly Head to Health)
Medicare Mental Health Centres (formerly Head to Health)
Head to Health centres provide a safe and welcoming space for adults, their family, and friends, who may be in distress or crisis, and can provide short- to medium-term mental health care under a ‘no wrong door’ approach or help find the right mental health services for their individual needs.
Eligibility
Head to Health is available to everyone living, working, or studying in central and eastern Sydney. It’s for all genders and cultural backgrounds.
Call 1800 595 212 Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5:00pm (except public holidays).
A trained mental health professional will ask you a range of questions to ensure your needs are appropriately identified, and from there they can direct you to the right service.
You can also drop by the Canterbury Head to Health Centre open Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5:00pm (except public holidays).
