EOI: Invitation to join the CESPHN Digital Health Advisory Group
CESPHN is seeking expressions of interest from GPs, Allied Health professionals, and Aged Care providers to join our newly established Digital Health Advisory Group. This group will play a key role in shaping the future of digital health and artificial intelligence (AI) in the primary care setting.
Purpose of the Advisory Group:
Our mission is to:
Promote Innovation – Foster a collaborative environment for sharing ideas, research, and advancements in digital health, including AI, telehealth, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
Support Education – Provide tailored resources and opportunities for professional development in digital health for primary care professionals.
Encourage Ethical Practices – Advocate for the responsible practice and ethical use of digital health technologies and AI in primary care.
Facilitate Networking – Connect professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts to build a strong digital health community.
Raise Public Awareness – Increase public understanding of digital health and its potential impact on primary care and society.

We are looking for a GPs, Allied Health, Aged Care providers who have:
Demonstrated experience in digital health and an interest in artificial intelligence (AI) applications within primary care, including the practical use of digital tools to enhance patient outcomes, improve care coordination, and streamline service delivery.
A strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing digital health and AI technologies in clinical settings, particularly in relation to patient safety, data privacy, and ethical considerations.
Experience in collaborative and multidisciplinary environments, with a commitment to innovation and continuous learning in the integration of emerging technologies to improve access, equity, and quality of care in primary health settings.
Time commitment:
The Advisory Committee meets four times a year (once a quarter) for 1.0 hour on a Thursday afternoon. On rare occasions there might be an ad hoc meeting or some out of session feedback sought via email.
How to Express Your Interest: If you are passionate about digital health and its potential to transform primary health care, please submit an expression of interest by emailing Yvonne Cheong Costa y.cheongcosta@cesohn.com.au by COB 31 October outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role (max half a page).
GP representatives will be renumerated for their time and appointed in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the EIS representation policy.
A review process will be undertaken by CESPHN and all applicants will be notified of the outcome.
