What you’ll be doing
Balmain Hospital’s General Practice Casualty (GPC) is a walk-in urgent care service providing assessment and early management of acute medical and surgical conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, wounds and minor paediatric presentations. GPC sees approximately 30–50 patients per day from the local Inner West community.
As a Career Medical Officer, you will:
The GPC operates three shifts per day, seven days a week (morning, afternoon and evening). This role requires availability for a mix of weekday, evening and weekend shifts.
Balmain Hospital is a sub-acute facility located in Sydney’s Inner West, with geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, and outpatient services. GPC provides a collegial, team-based working environment with nursing and allied health support on site.
