Medical & Aviation Centre Wolli Creek is seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitioner to join our established medical practice in Wolli Creek.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for a varied and rewarding role combining traditional general practice with occupational and employment-related medicine, within a well-established and professionally supported clinical environment.
About the Practice
Medical & Aviation Centre Wolli Creek provides a broad range of general practice, occupational health and aviation-related medical services to individual patients, employers and industry clients.
Our location at Wolli Creek provides excellent accessibility from Sydney’s CBD, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and surrounding areas, with convenient public transport and proximity to Sydney Airport.
The practice has developed a particular focus on occupational medicine and employment-related health services, providing an opportunity for a GP who would like greater variety than a conventional general practice role.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a GP who is comfortable providing high-quality general practice care while also developing an interest in occupational medicine.
The successful doctor will have the opportunity to provide a combination of:
General practice consultations and preventative healthcare
Pre-employment and employment medical assessments
Occupational health consultations
Workers compensation and workplace injury management
Return-to-work and fitness-for-duty assessments
Commercial driver and other industry medical assessments
Drug and alcohol testing and associated medical reviews
Corporate and workplace health services
Aviation-related medical services, depending upon the doctor’s qualifications and interests
Previous occupational medicine experience would be highly regarded but is not essential. We would welcome a GP who is interested in developing their occupational medicine skills alongside their general practice work.
