Attend a practical training session to help you assist patients to access the NDIS.

GPs will be allocated 4 Category 2 points in RACGP QI&CPD Program for the 2017-2019 triennium.

The two-hour session will cover:

• NDIS eligibility
• Understanding and writing functional impact assessments
• Completing the Access Request Form
• Lots of opportunity to practice your skills

CPD learning outcomes:

• Increased understanding of the role of medical professionals in assisting patients to access the NDIS
• Increased understanding of functional impact of assessment
• Guided practice writing functional impact assessments
• Safety-based and patient-centred approach regarding the NDIS
