Please join us for our annual Immunisation update, with the latest clinical information regarding the 2022 Influenza season, COVID-19 update and more.
This event will focus on information and forecasts for the upcoming 2022 influenza season, including guidelines for the new vaccines that will be available in 2022. The session aims to ensure immunisation providers are aware of the importance of adhering to the NSW Immunisation Schedule and ensuring children are kept up to date with their vaccination requirements. Reporting requirements will also be covered in the presentation.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify influenza trends and vaccination expectations for 2022 so practice can be prepared
2. Recognise changes and current status of the COVID-19 vaccination program so that GPs can discuss with and reassure patients.
3. Summarise the techniques and resources available to address vaccine hesitancy with patients
4. Determine methods for identifying patients overdue for COVID-19 and NIP vaccinations at the practice level
