Primary palliative care is a fundamental aspect of high-quality care for patients with a serious illness such as dementia. This webinar will help GPs who care for dementia patients recognise prognostic indicators for the end-of-life stage and outline the importance of reviewing and rationalising interventions in line individual goals of care.

The webinar will also examine the importance of a person-centred approach.

Lastly, the webinar will highlight how communication at end-of-life can impact bereavement and how GPs can support caregivers in relation to grief and bereavement as they are in a unique position to initiate such discussions.
