CESPHN will be providing a briefing on the establishment and operation of two new NSW Urgent Care Services in the Sydney LHD region. There will be an opportunity to: 

• Find out more on the NSW Urgent Care Services model
• Identify how these services will work to help support the health needs of the local community in partnership with the local emergency departments,  local general practices and other primary care providers
• Discuss how local primary health professionals can be involved in supporting the clinics.

NSW Urgent Care Services aim to ease pressure on local hospital emergency departments. These services will give those in our community more options to see a healthcare professional when they have an urgent, but not life-threatening, need for care and are unable to access their usual GP or other care providers.
