Specialised intellectual disability health teams and PHN collaborating through clinical care and capacity building.

The Specialist Intellectual Disability Health teams of SLHD and SESLHD, in partnership with Central and Eastern Sydney PHN have developed a series of four accredited workshops. These workshops aim to increase awareness of how to better care for people with intellectual disability in general and allied health practice.

The topics covered will include setting the scene, adolescence and early adulthood, specific conditions across the lifespan, managing complex health issues, and tips and tools for practice. 

Session one in a series of four sessions that will help you provide better care for PWID in your practice.

Learning outcomes:

Target Audience: GPs, PNs, PMs, practice staff, AHPs, pharmacists, community organisations

Registrations are being processed through Eventbrite.

Please do a separate registration per person to ensure we record all participants and can provide certificates accordingly
