Have your say at the upcoming GP consultation that will review the Initial Assessment and Referral implementation.

Central and Eastern Sydney PHN are 1 of 5 PHN’s nationally that have been successfully selected to implement and review the new intake guidance set by the Department of Health: National Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) in Mental Healthcare.

Our contribution will evaluate what works (and what does not) from a practical perspective, and this will inform the final content for all PHN’s to use in the future. We would like to introduce it to you and engage you in the process, to establish what works for everyone. 

This process will also initiate a re-design of our Centralised Intake processes for PSS and PICS. It will assist in streamlining our referral pathways and simplify our referral forms. We will be moving towards an online referral form in 2020. Therefore, our consultation will involve discussion around how we can best incorporate the IAR into our Centralised Intake re-design.

Participants will be remunerated for their attendance at this event.
