• Utilise clinical assessment and diagnostic tools to differentiate inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome 
• Confidently use and interpret faecal calprotectin to determine disease risk and when to refer for specialist assessment 
• Discuss the long term risks of IBD and therapy 
• Evaluate and manage PPI-refractory reflux, including timely recognition of eosinophilic oesophagitis and its clinical implications. 
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic strategies for eosinophilic oesophagitis, including long-term management and evaluation of treatment risks and benefits
