The Translational Cancer Research Network (TCRN) will be presenting a webinar for allied health professionals who are interested in improving the skills and knowledge in care for cancer patients and survivors.  

This 2-hour, free workshop will provide: 

1) an overview of the role of allied health professionals in cancer care with a number of cases with multidisciplinary approaches 

2) two separate 45 min breakout sessions for psychologists (Fear of cancer recurrence intervention) and exercise physiologists (cancer fatigue).

The workshop focuses on improving the skills and knowledge of community-based allied health professionals in care for cancer patients and survivors. This workshop will promote best practice in a shared care model of service delivery, developing a referral network for hospital-based doctors and primary care physicians.

Target Audience: all AHPs for the first hour and Exercise Physiologists and psychologists for the second hour. This webinar will target those 2 professions specifically this time.
