An introduction to building skills, knowledge and confidence of mental health professionals in engaging with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities including people with migrant and refugee experiences.

Key Learning Objectives

1. Describe the cultural diversity in Sydney and the experiences of CALD communities

2. Explain how culture influences mental health and illness

3. Identify tools and resources to support CALD communities

Target Audience: Allied Health Providers including psychologists and mental health social workers.
