Join us for this lunch and learn session to explore applied ways practices can improve breast screening rates. Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting females in NSW, yet only 50% of eligible women in the CESPHN region are up to date with screening. Studies show that primary care providers have significant influence on their patient’s decision to screen and play an important role in early detection of breast cancer.
This event will demonstrate how to approach breast screening from a QI perspective, enabling practices to identify small, actionable tasks that can improve screening rates over time.
