This webinar will cover key aspects of mpox management and prevention, including an overview of the virus, clinical diagnosis and treatment strategies. It will also highlight the role of vaccination and how we can all support uptake of vaccination for eligible populations.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Understand the epidemiology, transmission, and clinical presentation of mpox to improve timely diagnosis and treatment.
  2. Apply evidence-based management strategies, including antiviral therapies and supportive care for both mild and severe cases.
  3. Implement appropriate vaccination referrals or administration (pre- and post-exposure) and identify target populations to enhance prevention efforts.
  4. Utilise public health resources to support outbreak control and promote vaccine acceptance.
