People with intellectual disability often experience complex mental health conditions and behaviours of concern, requiring careful assessment and coordinated care. General practitioners play an essential role in recognising these presentations and supporting ongoing management alongside specialist services.

Join us to learn more about identifying common co-morbidities, undertaking multi-modal assessments, and understanding the role of psychopharmacotherapy, including when to initiate, review, and de-prescribe, within a shared care approach between primary care and psychiatry.
