This workshop is designed to build the skills, knowledge, and confidence of mental health workers in engaging with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities including people with migrant and refugee experiences. This workshop will emphasize practical strategies for fostering inclusive, culturally responsive practices.

Learning Objectives

1. Describe the cultural diversity in Sydney and the experiences of CALD communities

2. Explain how culture influences mental health and illness

3. Identify tools and resources to support CALD communities

Target Audience:  Allied Health providers including mental health social workers and psychologists
