This one day training session aims to increase understanding of the NDIS and the role of primary health providers when working with people with disability.

At the end of the session primary health providers will feel more informed and know where to find more detailed information about the NDIS.

Attendees will gain a greater understanding of the NDIS, the health and disability interface and the whole of life aspects of disability. This will contribute to improved health outcomes and access to services for people with disability.

Attendees will be issued certificates of attendance on completion of the day.

The training is being delivered by the Council for Intellectual Disability.

Target audience: Health professionals, general practitioners, allied health professionals, practice nurses and practice managers
