Practical aspects of Multidisciplinary Management Post Stroke

Dr Parapuram, Dr Redmond and the MetroRehab Allied Health Team 

This will be a practical session where attendees will explore and use different equipment and technology used to treat stroke survivors.

GPs will be provided with a thorough update on signs and motor and non motor symptoms to assist with diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson Plus Syndromes . They will also be given an overview of current medications used to treat parkinsons disease and the advanced therapies available .

GPs will be given a detailed overview which includes video footage on Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation options such as PD warrior program and LSVT LOUD to manage parkinsons disease.

Target audience: GPs, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
