Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN) would like to invite Practice Nurses working within our region to join us for an evening of connection, collaboration and conversation. Welcome drink on arrival and dinner will be served. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow nurses, share experiences, exchange ideas, and build valuable professional relationships whilst learning about infant feeding and early parenting support.

The presentation will provide an overview of:

• Breastfeeding – The World Health Organisation recommendations, the importance of breastfeeding, breastfeeding basics, how to know breastfeeding is going well, and common concerns.
• Formula feeding – Including bottle feeding basics, types of formula, common concerns.
• Common parent concerns – Including baby behaviour, baby and parent sleep and the unwell baby.

This presentation will offer practical information, evidence-based guidance and valuable opportunities for discussion and networking and will be presented by Faith Robertson, Clinical Midwifery Consultant – Lactation, Women’s & Children’s Health, St George Hospital.
