Professor Christine Jenkins, is Head of the Respiratory Group at The George Institute for Global Health; Clinical Professor, Concord Clinical School, and Professor of Respiratory Medicine at UNSW Sydney

•  importance of early detection of at-risk patients with COPD and the need to perform spirometry to accurately diagnose and assess severity of COPD;
• importance of good control and better outcomes if they get COVID. How to access spirometry;
• the key value of pulmonary rehab and maintenance of physical activity in COPD and post-COVID dyspnoea;
• differences in treating dyspnoea from COPD vs post-COVID;
• learnings from the SARS-CoV2 pandemic to better care of patients with COPD;
• new knowledge about the COPD patient groups in whom dual bronchodilators vs triple therapy is indicated and why.
